Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Welcome to the Capital City of India – Delhi. Political heartland. Greetings from our Staff present at the Airport to take you to you booked Hotel.
You are free to overcome JET LAG due to long flight from a different Time Zone.Evening: Fresh and clear in new environment, we will introduce you to theIndian Cuisine, specially the Curries in one of the Indian Restaurant

Day 02: DELHI

Breakfast in the Hotel.
Morning proceed for the visit of Old Delhi – visit will include Mosque, Jama Masjid, the largest in India and is one of architectural marvel created by Emperor Shah Jahan. You will embark on a Rickshaw to visit Chandni Chowk (Silver Street) where you willsee lot Shops selling daily household utilities, small road side restaurant selling Tea. One has to walk through these lanes due to its narrowness. Not far away, you will come across awe inspiring red Fort, erstwhile Seat of Power. One can see lot of art work in the Fort Complex. Drive past the Red Fort and visit Raj Ghat, where Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Afternoon: Visit Humayun’s Tomb built in 16th Century made in red Sandstone and laid with Black and white marble. It stands on a Podium looking towards Yamuna. A fine example of Indo Islamic architecture. Further drive towards Qutub Minar, the pride of Delhi. One can see the versus from Quran. Built by Qutub-Ud-Din in 1193, it has a Tower and Minaret. erected by. It bears versus from Quran. The soaring conical tower is an exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Afghan architecture. Drive through the India Gate and President House.

Day 03: DELHI – BAGDOGRA (by Flight) – Darjeeling by Car (93 Km – 03Hr)

Breakfast in the Hotel.
Transfer to Airport.
Domestic Airlines will fly you to Bagdogra – nearest Airport to DarjeelingUpon Arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will travel through the Himalayan Mountains to Darjeeling. (DARJEELING: World’s finest Tea is grown here. Tea plantations are spread here since the colonial time. Over the years lot of research has been done and the tea has grown in maturity. Due to close proximity to Nepal, lot Nepalese have been hired in the tea plantations. The Place was discovered and developed during the British regime.)
You will be checked-in at the pre-booked HotelWalk through the Bazaars during Free time and feel the fresh air.

Day 04: DARJEELING

Early morning: You will admire the sun coming out of clouds and the high Mountains including the Mount Everest. during visit to Tiger Hill. On a clear dayOne can see the Snow-capped mountains like Everest, Kabru ,Kanchenjunga and other Mountains.Hindus worship the Sun as they consider this as a deity. On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery considered to be the Holiest Monastery in Darjeeling
Return to hotel for Breakfast.
Afternoon: Board UNESCO World Heritage, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway and travel Ghoom (located at 2300M) the second highest Railway station by Steam Engine located at 2300M. Red Panda can be seen at Himalayan Zoo and also visit Mountaineering Institute.
Visit the Tibetan refugee help center established to help homeless.

Day 05: DARJEELING – PELLING (PEMYANGTSE)

Breakfast at Hotel.
Our next destination is Pemyangtse, now re-named as Pelling in Western Sikkim. The Road passes through many Tea Plantations. We will stop at one of these Tea Plantations. You will cross the Sikkim Border before you reach your destination, Pelling.
(PELLING: {PEMYANGTSE}: situated at a Height of 2085M, this beautiful Hamlet has a natural flavor. One can see magnificent snow-capped Mountains of Kachenjunga. A paradise for Trekkers. One can see the route from Yuksom over Dzongri Lad to Rathong Glacier.)

Day 06: PELLING

Post breakfast, Visit the beautiful Pemayangtse Monastery, which is only second of its kind in Sikkim. The Walls are decorated with many thangkas and wall painting. Besides the Monastery has collection of religious Art works. The Wooden sculpture on the top floor depicts the heavenly place of Guru Rimoche. and there is an exceptional collection of religious artworks including an exquisite wooden sculpture on the top floor depicting the heavenly palace of Guru Rimoche. Visit the Lake nearby.
AFTERNOON: Free – Interact with Villagers in nearby Villages.

Day 07: PELLING TO GANGTOK (130 Km – 05 Hrs)

Breakfast in the Hotel.
In less than5 hours, you will reach Gangtok – the Capital of Sikkim.
(Gangtok, the land of monasteries, is also the largest town of Sikkim. Situated in the Shivalik Hills and lying at an altitude of 1437 m, it’s an important Buddhist Pilgrimage Centre. Gangtok gained religious significance among the Buddhists after the construction of the Enchey Monastery in the latter part of the century.)
Afternoon – Complete the formalities of Check-in at the Hotel.
Explore the Bazaars on your own.

Day 08: GANGTOK

Breakfast in the Hotel.
The sightseeing of Gangtok includes Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do-Drul Chorten and Royal Palace and Gangtok’s most attractive Monastery Enchey Gompa.
AFTERNOON: Visit Rumtek Monastery – a village within a village comprising of religious monasteries. It is a seat of 17th Karmapa who fled from Tibet but not allowed to sit on throne due to sensitiveness of relationship between India and China.

Day 09: GANGTOK – BAGDOGRA(130Km – 04,30Hrs)-FLY to Delhi

Breakfast is at Hotel.
You will be transferred on time to Bagdogra Airport for your Flight to Delhi.
Fly to Delhi.
LATE EVENING – Arrive Delhi, Meet and Greet and Transfer to City.
FAREWELL DINNER.
Transfer to International Airport.
Flight back Home.
