Description : BACKWATER & CANALS.
Day 1: KOCHI – THOTTAPPALY (80Km. – 3 hrs.)
(Thottappally Spillway- splits the Thottappally lake with the fresh water part to the east and saline Thottappally river mouth to the west merging with the Arabian Sea)
After Arrival at the Airport in Kochi, you will be met by our Representative. After guiding you to the Car, the Driver will drive you to Thottappaly. Your dream journey of back waters begins here by boarding the Houseboat booked for you. After check-in, you will be served Lunch on Board.
After lunch, stop in Pallana Village for a temple and traditional coconut weaving workshop.

Day:02 – HOUSE BOAT
Breakfast on board the Houseboat
After Breakfast, visit the Serpent Temple Mannarashala which is not far from Pallana. On the way back to your houseboat you pass the place where the Arabian Sea flows into the backwaters. The drive will then take you to Karumadi, where you will see Kerala's only Buddhist monument and various temples.

Day 03 – Backwaters by Houseboat
Breakfast on board the Houseboat.
The Day begins with a visit to the surrounding villages and temples of the backwater canals. The Sree Krishna Swami temple in Ambalapuzha built in traditional Kerala style and the St. Mary church in Chambakkulam are the highlights of your visit.

Day 4: Backwaters by Houseboat
Breakfast on board the Houseboat.
You will be driven to the Village of Pulinkunnu, nestled in the Rice Fields. Drive to the largest Lake of Kerala – Lake Vembanad, which stretches over 220 sq. Km. The whole journey is relaxing as it passes through idyllic palm-fringed landsape.

Day 05: Backwaters by Houseboat
Breakfast on board the Houseboat.
The Houseboat will sail through the mangrove forests to Kumarakom.
After Lunch and relaxation, by late afternoon, you will visit a Bird Sanctuary to see different species of Birds. Return to Houseboat

Day 06: Kumarakom to Kochi
After the Breakfast on this everlasting journey, You will be driven to Kochi Airport for your onward journey OR take one of our extensions.
