DAY 1: GUWAHATI-SHILLONG (110 KMS/4 HRS) :
Arrival Guwahati. Pick up from Guwahati Airport and transfer to shillong. Via Barapani Lake and arrive Shillong. Check in at hotel. After Lunch Local sightseeing in Shillong covering Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, and Local market (closed on Sundays).

DAY 2: SHILLONG-CHERRAPUNJI (68 KMS/2 HRS):
Breakfast in the Hotel
Day long excursion to Cherrapunji and back to Shillong. Major attractions Mawsmai Caves, Eco Park, Waterfalls and many view points. Return to Shillong

DAY3: SHILLONG-NAMERI (285 KMS APX./ 5 HRS) :

Morning Drive to Nameri.
(Nameri National Park is located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India and is the third national park in Assam. The Pakhui (Pakke) Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh adjoins the Park on its North-Eastern point. Together they constitute an area of over 1000 km 2 of semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests with cane and bamboo brakes and narrow strips of open grassland along rivers. Nameri is a birder’s paradise with over 300 species of birds.)

DAY 4: NAMERI-BOMDILA (180 KMS/6 HRS):

(Bomdila is a small beautiful town situated at 8000Ft. one can see the snow clad mountains of Himalayan Range.

Morning Drive to Bomdila.
On Arrival, Check-in at the Hotel.
Afternoon: Visit Buddhist Monastery. Visit the Craft Center displaying local crafts.

DAY 5: BOMDILA-TAWANG (185 KMS/6 HRS):

Leave by Car for Tawang (TAWANG is situated in western most part of Arunachal Pradesh. The area of this district is approximately 2,172 Sq.km, bounded by Tibet (China) to the north, Bhutan to the south-west and Sela ranges separated from West Kament district in the east.)

Today you will cross Sela Pass – one of the highest motorable passes on Himalaya at 14.000 ft. This road was once the battle ground of India and China. Tawang has a strong Tibetan presence. Numerous prayer flags can be seen fluttering in the breeze.

DAY 6: TAWANG:

At Tawang (10,000 ft), you will visit the famous Buddhist Monastery which was in the route chosen by the Dalai Lama to enter India from Tibet. A stunning 8M high gilded statue of Buddha dominates the spectrum. Attached to the monastery, there is a Museum and a library with priceless collections. The monastery is one of the largest in Asia with a thousand monks. Visit the craft centre that sells beautiful masks, hand-woven carpets, tangkas, and jewellery in silver, turquoise, coral and amber. The museum presents the rich cultural diversity of Tawang.

DAY 7: TAWANG:

Visit P.T. Tso (Pankang teng Ts) Lake : Tso means lake in Monpa dialect. This lake is only 18 Km from Tawang township. This lake has always been a cynosure of attraction to the visiting tourists. It is also an ideal spot for picnic. In winter lake remains frozen and the surrounding area provides an ideal spot for skiing. DAY 8: TAWANG- BOMDILA (190 KMS / 7 HRS):
Breakfast in the Hotel
After Breakfast transfer to Bomdila.

On Arrival, Check-in at the Hotel

Afternoon: visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gompa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gompa), Bomdila View Point. Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market.

DAY 9: BOMDILA-KAZIRANGA (210KM APX.5HRS) :

Leave by Car for Kaziranga National Park.

(This prestigious Park is situated in the North Eastern State of Assam. Home to Famous One-Horned Rhinoceros. The estimate of population is about 2000, more than Two Third of the world population. The Park is opened from 1st Week of November till end of April each year)

DAY 10: KAZIRANGA
Early Morning – Tea/Coffee in the Hotel & proceed to explore wild life in Kaziranga National Park on Elephant. Here we will enjoy the Elephant safari in central zone called Kohora, as this is the smallest zone of the national park having a maximum density of one horned Rhino. You will be criss corssing the narrow paths of the National Park which will bring you closer to Wildlife. The central range of the national park is mix of Grassland and Woodland.
Return to the Hotel for Breakfast and rest till afternoon.

AFTERNOON – Jeep Safari to explore the Western Ranges Here we will follows the route Bagori – Dongabeel – Rowmari – Rajapukhuri – Monabeel along with bank of Mori Diffalu river. On our way back to resort we will also stop at the Donga watch Tower for sometimes to have the glimpse of Wildlife.

DAY 11: KAZIRANGA
After Breakfast visit, The eastern range of Kaziranga known as Agoratoli consists mostly of woodland and is famous for its wide variety of Birds. It is home to a variety of migratory birds and is also known to have large population of Wild Elephants. During our exploration in Agoratoli we will visit the Shola water body and here one can stop for sometime at Shohola Tower to view the birdlife and other animals. This will be the last stoppage of our Jeep safari in Eastern range. Later we will return to the resort for lunch.

After lunch we will again explore the central range of the national with visiting few of its watch tower namely Kathpora Tower, Daflang Tower and Kerasing Tower. Later return to the resort. Visit a Local Village to see the life style of the people staying in the Villages.

DAY 12: KAZIRANGA – GAUWAHATI – KOLKATA/DELHI
After Breakfast, Transfer to the Airport in Gauwahati for flight to Kolkata or Delhi

Arrive, Kolkata/Delhi by Late Afternoon/Evening
Leave for back home or take tours from us for various destinations.
