Day 03: JAIPUR
Breakfast in the Hotel
Morning: Proceed for excursion to Amber Fort, the former seat of the Rajput rulers of Jaipur. En route visit the Palace of Winds for a photo opportunity. Continue your drive to Amber fort.

Visit Amber Fort – on Elephant Back & visit the Old Palace within the complex of Fort overlooking the Lake at the entrance to a rocky mountain grove. Built in 17th Century, the
Palace is a distinguished specimen of Rajput architecture. Palace & Observatory remain closed on 26th Jan, 15th Aug & 2nd Oct & day following Holi Festival.

Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of city visiting City Palace, City sightseeing of Jaipur – Rose-Pink Capital of Rajasthan. City is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills, crowned with Forts & enclosed by embattled Walls. Visit City Palace – which now houses a Museum containing rare manuscripts, Paintings & an armoury, Observatory with a Sundial 90ft high. The Museum amidst the Ram Niwas Palace Gardens. Visit Palace of Winds.

Day 04: JAIPUR-FATEHPUR SIKRI-AGRA (260Km – 05,30hrs)

Morning you will be driven to Agra. En route visit FATEHPUR SIKRI – UNESCO Heritage site was once the Capital of Agra though for short time during the reign of Emperor Akbar. The City was an Indo-Islamic masterpiece. Visit the Mosque, Diwan-i-khas in the Palace.

Later drive to Agra. Agra is home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Taj Mahal.

Visit TAJ MAHAL – one of the seven Wonders of the world built by
Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his beloved Consort Mumtaz Mahal.

DAY 06: DELHI sightseeing

Afternoon you will visit Qutub Minar – a soaring Afghan style Tower and Minaret erected by Qutb-Ud-din in 1193 – the pride of Delhi. Humayun’s Tomb, is the Delhi’s first Mughal mausoleum, built in 16th Century is constructed of red sandstone, inlaid with black and white marble. DAY 07: DELHI – HARIDWAR – RISHIKESH (260Km – 05 hrs)

Leave by Car for Rishikesh via (HARDWAR is an ancient city and municipality in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. The River Ganga, after flowing for 253Km from its source at Gaumukh at the edge of the Gangotri Glacier, enters the Indo-Gangetic Plains of North India for the first time at Haridwar, which gave the city its ancient name, Gangadwára)

DAY 08: RISHIKESH
Breakfast in the Hotel (pure Vegetarian)
Rishikesh is located on the foot hill of Himalayas and is gateway to various religious places. Visit the various ASHRAMS and Yoga centre. It is known as Capital of Yoga.

Evening – Visit Haridwar to see the AARTI – Ganga Aarti is organised twice a day every evening. Evening Ganga Aarti is more famous. Ganga Aarti has two parts. First part is offering to the river ganga to get blessing. Offerings are done with backgrounds of live chants in Sankrit language. After short break of 5 min. after offering the second part starts which is Hindi Song for River Ganga. The priest also light the Big Diyas (Multiple wicks are soaked in Ghee and the holder is made from copper) during this song.

Other interesting places to see in Old Goa are up on Holy Hill, are the Chapel of our Lady of the Rosary (one of the oldest in Goa), and the Convent of Santa Monica, reputed to be amongst the largest convents in the Portuguese empire, with a Miraculous Cross at the altar.

DAY 14 : ELEPHANTA CAVES & sightseeing of Mumbai

Visit Elephanta Caves: Drive to Gateway of India and thence by Motor Launch to the Caves. These are Rock-cut Temples on Elephanta Island. The Main Cave with a number of large sculpted panels, all relating to Shiva, and a separate lingam shrine. Visit the famous Trimurti or triple-headed Siva, where the God also takes the role of Brahma, the Creator and Vishnu the preserver.Central bust of Siva, its eyes closed in eternal countemplation, may be the most serene sight. Also see figures of Siva dancing the Tandava, the marriage of Siva and Parvati.
Afternoon: Sightseeing of Mumbai. Gateway of India, Flora Fountain, Town Hall, church Gate, Prince of Wales Muscum, Mani bhavan Malabar Hill and Nariman Point.
