DAY 01: BOMBAY-KOCHI (By Flight)
Morning: Arrive Kochi ; Meet and Greet at Airport
Transfer to Hotel
Afternoon: City sightseeing of Kochi Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Fort Cochin Area – St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets and Synagogue. Kochi Harbour and Bolgatty Island.
EVENING: Visit Kathakali Dances in a Theater.

Day 02: KOCHI – MUNNAR (130 Km – 3hrs)
Breakfast in the Hotel
Leave by Car for Munnar via VALARA, Cheeyappara Waterfalls and
Visit Karadippara Point.

(The Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara waterfalls located between Neriamangalam and Adimali on the Kochi – Madurai highway is a quite fascinating spot.)

After sightseeing of above place, proceed onwards to Munnar.

Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, and perched about 1600 m above sea level, the hill station of Munnar once used to be the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in south India.)

Day 03: MUNNAR

Visit: Eravikulam National Park
One of the main attractions near Munnar is the Eravikulam National Park. Located about 15 km from Munnar, this park is famous for its endangered inhabitant – the Nilgiri Tahr. Spread over an area of 97 sq. km., this park is also home to several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds
Mattupetty – Another place of interest, located about 13 km from Munnar Town, is Mattupetty. Situated at a height of 1700 m above sea level, Mattupetty is known for its storage masonry dam and the beautiful lake, which offers pleasurable boat rides, enabling one to enjoy the surrounding hills and landscape. Tea Musem – Munnar has a legacy of its own when it comes to the origins and evolution of tea plantations. Taking account of this legacy and to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects on the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala’s high ranges, a museum exclusively for tea was opened some years ago by Tata Tea in Munnar.

DAY 04: MUNNAR-PERIYAR (90 Km – 03 Hrs)

Leave by Car for Periyar (You will be taken to one of the best game sanctuaries in India Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Your journey to Thekkady is through breathtaking, winding, dense rubber, etc; do not forget your camera.
AFTERNOON – Arrive & Check-in at the Hotel
EVENING – SUN SET Cruise on Lake PERIYAR to see the Wild Life of Periyar.

Leave by Car for Kanyakuram en route visit Padmanabhapuram Palace
The ancient historical town Padmanabhapuram. This town is surrounded by a fort with an area of 187 acres. The ancient capital of Travancore might be constructed before AD 1601. The palace with an area of seven acres, is situated in the very centre on the Padmanabhapuram Fort, amidst hills, dales and rivers.

Also visit Suchindaram – a small village about 12 km. from Kanyakumari and about seven kilometres from Nagercoil. This holy place is located on the bank of the river Pazhayar, adjoining fertile fields and coconut groves and the temple is dedicated to Sri Sthanumalayan. The word denotes Siva, Vishnu and Brahma as. Sthanu represents Siva, Mal represents Vishnu while Ayan represents Brahma.

Morning – Drive up to Gateway of India and take a Motor Launch and Visit ELEPHANTA CAVES – These are Rock-cut Temples on Elephanta Island. The Main Cave with a number of large sculpted panels, all relating to Shiva, and a separate lingam shrine. Visit the famous Trimurti or triple-headed Siva, where the God also takes the role of Brahma, the Creator and Vishnu the preserver.Central bust of Siva, its eyes closed in eternal countemplation, may be the most serene sight. Also see figures of Siva dancing the Tandava, the marriage of Siva and Parvati.
