Day 02: VARKALA

Morning Visit: Janardhana Swamy temple, located on a cliff overlooking the Beach is a sight to watch and you will appreciate the divinity of the Temple. Proceed to Sivagiri Mutt of Sree Narayan Guru and his Samadhi, nearby. The period from 30th December to 1st January is devoted to this Shrine.

Day 03: VARKALA – ALLEPPY (105Km – 02,30Hrs) – House Boat overnight
After Breakfast at the Hotel, you will be driven to Alleppy, which is considered as Venice of the East. The life line of Alleppy is the Canals around it, which allows free movement to various adjoining places.
By orientation drive of the City, you will appreciate the lakes and the small hamlets around and Board the House boat for your journey to sail through the Boat towards your next destination, Kumarakom.
After Lunch on Board the House Boat, you will cruise through the Canals and back Waters. Your Boat will be parked in a beautiful location for the Overnight.

Day 04: Kumarakom

Day 05: Kumarakom – Periyar (130Km – 03,30hrs)
Early morning, you will sail through the backwaters and watch the Birds of
Difference species. Return to Hotel for Breakfast.
Time to move for your next destination, which is Periyar – A wildlife Sanctuary.
Rest of the Afternoon will be free to walk through the beautiful roads and observe the local life.
EVENING – As Animals return to their base, you will have chance to see them sitting on the Boat sailing through the Lake Periyar

Day 06: PERIYAR – MUNNAR (90Km – 03hrs)
After Breakfast in the Hotel, as you walk through a spice plantation, you can see, smell and taste how and where the spices that are exported from India to all over the world grow. Visit the Spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee and tea estates and proceed onwards to Munnar – located at the confluence of 3 Mountain streams, at an altitude of 1600M.
Late Afternoon – After arrival, relax for a short while in the Hotel and then walk through this Mountain resort which has lot of Tea Plantations.
Day 07: MUNNAR
Post Breakfast at the Hotel, visit National Park – Eravikulam. The park is spread over 97 sq.km and has rare butterflied, animals and birds besides he endangered inhabitant – The Nilgiri Tahr.
Mattupetty – A Masonry Dam is located here at an altitude of 1700M. Take a Boat ride on the beautiful lake and enjoy the landscape and surrounding hills.
