NEPAL’S JUNGLES, MOUNTAINS and CULTURE

Day 01:ARRIVAL – KATHMANDU

Touch base at Tribhuvan International Airport and feel invited as you are welcomed with lovely laurels. After this, go to the hotel. Appreciate a reviving welcome drink and appreciate a heavenly supper at the lodging.

DAY 02: KATHMANDU – NAGARKOT (35 Km. 01 hr.)

Morning:After Breakfast at the Hotel, Visit Pashupatinath temple and Swoyambhunath Stupa
Pashupatinath:One of the sacred Shiva temples is visited by Hindu devotees from all over the world and is the largest temple complex in Nepal along the side of Bagmati River.This is one of the traditional pilgrimage circuit. The admission inside the Temple is restrictedfor Hindus only. Non-Hindus can proceed towards the River Bank where one can look down into the temple from terrace hill in an opposite side. Watch the cremation going along the sacred Bagmati River.
Swoyambhunath Stupa:Lots of Monkeys wander around and hence it is also referred to as ” Monkey temple” due to This is a largest stupa in Nepal.
Afternoon: Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Hanuman Dhoka, ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl – holy place for the Buddhists & Hindus, Temple House of Kumari, the vestal virgin or the living goddess – Bhaktapur City – The UNESCO World Heritage Site, An ancient town and the medieval city of devotees.
Later, continue on to Nagarkot hill. 35 kms from Kathmandu on the eastern rim of the valley is the hill of Nagarkot (1,950m). On a clear Day, one can view Mt. Dhaulagiri in the west, past Mt. Everest to Kanchenjunga in the west. While the mountains are relatively distant compared to the intimate view you will experience.
After Arrival, Check-in at the Hotel.
One can view sunset and sunrise from the hotel premises.

DAY 03: NAGARKOT – CHITWAN (220 KM. 7 HRS.)

After breakfast drive to Chitwan National park, one of the finest wildlife experiences in Asia. Situated in south central Nepal, the park covers 932 Sq. Km in sub-tropical low lands of Terai. Chitwan is among Asia’s finest national park, renowned for its variety and abundance of wildlife. On a day, when your luck favors, you may come across the elusive Tiger and Leopard.
Upon arrival in Chitwan, Check-in at the jungle resort/Lodge
Lunch at the Hotel
Elephant back safari to explore the jungle and view various wildlife.
Later enjoy Tharu Cultural Dance, the traditional Dance of Tharu people. This will also include the StickDance.
Dinner and overnight at the jungle lodge in Chitwan.

DAY 04: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at the Lodge
Get ready to view the wild life in Jungles with Jeeps. In the one hourdrive, you will come across Rhinos, Tigers, Elephants, Deer etc., Later, you will proceed to Rapti River and ride on a traditional Wooden Canoe. During the sail, you can view, Water Birds, Crocodiles. After this memorable ride, you will walk through the Jungles and then proceed to Hotel

DAY 05: CHITWAN – POKHARA (165 KMS. 5HRS.)

Time to drive to Pokhara This is a second popular city after Kathmandu. It is famous for its pristine lakes and mountains.
AFTERNOON:Arrive and Check-in at the Hotel. After some rest, proceed for city sightseeing of Pokhara, the most famous place for adventure activities. There are also famous landmarks, such as Shanti Stupa located on the Anadu Hills with the backdrop of Annapurna Mountain ranges and overlooking Pehwa Lake. Visit the International Mountain Museum. Visit old town of Pokhra. End with 1hour Boat Ride on Lake Pehwa.
Evening, stroll around the lake area.
Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

DAY 06: POKHARA – KATHMANDU (205Km. 6hrs.)

Breakfast at the Hotel
Morning, is free for adventure activities such as Paragliding, Zip Flyer, Ultralight flight, Bungee Jump etc.
Afternoon: Leave by Car for Kathmandu
After Arrival, check-in at the Hotel

DAY 07: KATHMANDU

Breakfast at the Hotle
Free for Mountain Flight (OPTIONAL)
Check-out 11 AM
Transfer to Airport
