DAY 01: DELHI – AMRITSAR (BY AIR)

Arrive Delhi – Clear Immigration and Customs.
Collect your Baggage and CHECK-IN for flight to Amritsar.(Amritsar is a major commercial and cultural center in the heart of Punjab. The city is the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion and is home to the Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple).
Arrive Amritsar – Meet and Greet at Airport.
Transfer to Hotel.
Evening: Leave for Wagha Border ( 28 Km) and witness The Wagah border closing 'lowering of the flags' ceremony or The Beating Retreat ceremony is a daily military practice that the security forces of India (Border Security Force) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) have jointly followed since 1959.
Return to Hotel.
After Dinner – Visit the Golden Temple to see closing ceremony.(OPTIONAL)

DAY 02: AMRITSAR – GOLDEN TEMPLE

The Jalianwala Bagh - On April 13, the holiday of Baisakhi, thousands of Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims gathered in the Jallianwala Bagh (garden) near the Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar.
General R.E.H. Dyer accompanied by 50 British Indian Soldiers cordoned off the Area ordered shooting at an unarmed gathering of men, women, and children without warning.

DAY 03: AMRITSAR-DALHOUSIE (200 Km – 04,30Hrs)

CHURCHES: There are four beautiful churches in Dalhousie. These are St. Andrew's Church and St. Patrick's Church at Balun, St. Francis church at Subhash Chowk and St.John's Church at Gandhi Chowk.
SUBHASH BAOLI (1 km): It was at this enchanting spot surrounded by majestic trees, that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose spent time in 1937, contemplating and meditating.
PANCHPULA (3 km): This is a picturesque spot where a stream feed a series of pools. A monument has been built here in memory of the freedom fighter, Sardar Ajit Singh.KALATOP (10 km): This wild life sanctuary is a home to the 'ghoral' and Himalayan black bear.SHOPPING: Tibetan handicrafts including pullovers and carpets at Dalhousie. DAY 04: DALHOUSIE – DHARAMSALA (120Km – 02,30Hrs)

Leave by Car for Dharamshala.

DAY 05: DHARAMSALA

Visit the following places:
KANGRA ART MUSEUM, KOTWALI BAZAR: This treasure trove of the Kangra Valley displays arts, crafts and rich past, artifacts that date back to the 5th century. It includes a gallery of Kangra's famous miniature painting.
WAR MEMORIAL: At the start of town, landscaped lawns and a web of narrow paths fill a pine grove where a monument has been raised to commemorate the post independence war heroes of Himachal Pradesh.
KUNAL PATHRI: A 3 km level walk from the Kotwali Bazaar leads up to this rock temple.
ST. JOHN'S CHURCH: 8 km from Dharamsala, between Forsyth Ganj and Mcleodganj is the charmingchurch of St. John in the Wilderness. Under the shade of deodar branches, a memorial has been erected over the body of the British Viceroy, Lord Elgin who died at Dharamsala in 1863. There is a well tended old graveyard on these grassy sloped.
MCLEODGANJ: Often called the Little Lhasa, at 1770m is the residence of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama. The Tibetan Government in exile has been head quartered here for over three decades. DAY 06: DHARAMSALA – MANALI (215Km –05Hrs)

DAY 07: MANALI

Rest of the Morning FREE.
AFTERNOON: City sightseeing of Manali, visiting Manu Temple, Hadimba Temple and Tibetan Monasteries. Walk through the Bazaars.

DAY 08: MANALI – ROHTANG PASS – MANALI (100 Km – ROUND TRIP)

Full day visit to ROHTANG PASS (subject to permission)– located at an altitude of 3980M is a high Mountain Pass on the Eastern PIR PANJAL range of Himachal Pradesh. It connects LAHUL & SPITI Valley and to LEH also. The pass provides a natural divide between the humid Kulu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture (in the south), and the arid high-altitude Lahul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north).
Return to Hotel in Manali in the Evening.

DAY 09: MANALI – KULU – SHIMLA (250 Km – 6 Hrs.)

Leave by Car for Shimla en route visit NAGGAR (26 Km from Manali) - Situated on the left bank of river Beas at an altitude of 1851m, Naggar - an ancient town commands extensive views, especially to the North West of the valley. Visit the Roerich Art Gallery, which houses number of rare paintings and other specimen of Art. Proceed onwards to Shimla.
Evening – Arrive Shimla & Proceed to Hotel.

DAY 10: SHIMLA

AFTERNOON- Excursion to KUFRI – located at an altitude of 2510M, 13 Km from Shimla. It is famous for its trekking and hiking trails. In Winter one can ski on the slopes. It is also famous for its Picnic spots and Nature Parks. NALDHERA Nestled between the beautiful lofty ranges of the Himalayas, lies the Naldhera hill station. The Naldehra hill resort near Shimla is no less than a picture perfect destination. The blue skies, lush green forests and an occasional rainbow thrown in makes the place look like it has been painted on a canvas. The most famous attraction of Naldehra hill station is the 18 - Hole Golf Course that is considered to be the most challenging golf course.

DAY 11: SHIMLA
