Visit OLD DELHI - This is a walled city. Visit the most opulent Fort and the Palace of Mughal Empire (CLOSED on Monday). Visit Chandni Chowk (Silver Street) and drive through the narrow lanes by a Rickshaw. Visit Jamma Masjid and thence drive to Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Connaught Circus, the prestigious shopping market. Visit the Birla Temple.
Lunch in one of the elegant Local Restaurant
After Lunch, Visit New Delhi. Humayun’s Tomb built in the mid16th Century by Haji Begum, wife of Humayun, the 2nd Mughal Empire, an early example of Mughal architecture and now a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Continuing, you will visit Qutub Minar, 72M high and one of the most perfect towers in the Persian World. Drive through the Embassy Area and the President House, Indian Parliament and the India Gate. Stop at India Gate. Finally visit the Lotus Temple - Baha'i House of worship open to all irrespective of religion and caste.
