RAJASTHAN’S EPITOME AND ELEGANCE

DAY 01: DELHI – SAMODE (250 Km. -5,30hr).

(Samode Palace reflect Indo-Saracenic architecture. The 475 years Old Palace is now boasts of a Luxury Hotel. The Samode Village is famous for Block printing and handicraft)
Upon arrival at the airport and after clearing the Immigration and Customs, you will be met by your local Representative and he will guide you to the car for your drive to Samode. You will spend the night in the romantic palace, which was converted into an exclusive hotel in the 80's. Take advantage of the rest of the day to explore the nearby village or enjoy the views from SamodePalace.

Day 2: SAMODE - NIMAJ (about 257 km / 5 hr).

(NIMAJ – a small town with rural character with a Temple, Art Gallery and Palace. About few Km. lies a Dam where one can view Birds)
After breakfast, we drive through the fantastic landscape of the desert state towards Nimaj. Upon arrival in Nimaj, check in at Nimaj Palace, which has been transformed into a heritage Hotel with all modern comforts and now a HERITAGE hotel.The life style of the erstwhile Maharajas is clear visible when you enter the Palace and eventually the luxurious Rooms and corridors. The rest of the day is free for you to explore and take a Horse Ride or Camel ride.

Day 3: NIMAJ

Breakfast in the Palace
The people of this Area are known as RAJPUTS. The typical villages and their lifestyle around is very typical and interesting. On a jeep safari you will visit small villages and learn more about the everyday life of the Rajputs.
Return to Nimaj and after a brief rest, Visit a Village Temple

Day 4: Nimaj - Jojawar (about 110 km/2hr.)

You had passed through the Desert landscape on your way to Nimaj, but today the drive will take you through rocky landscapes and the steppe of Rajasthan to the Aravalli Mountains in the east. __
After Arrival, check-in at the Palace.
After relaxation and late in the Afternoon, take a Jeep Safari (in a Vintage Car, Old Chevy or Vintage Land Rover) and proceed to meet the Camel tribe called as *RABARI* - an ethnic group found in this Area. You will drive through Farms and little Village Hamlets and interact with these group of people.

Day 05: JOJAWAR

Breakfast at the Palace
Today, you will experience a different kind of excursion. A Train Ride – You will board one of the regular Train from Rawala Station at the start of Hill section to the highest station in Aravallis – the KambliGhat Station. The Train passes through beautiful Forests and the Hills. Another Highlight is interaction with your co-travelers who are excited to share the seat with you. You will arrive back with Car or Jeep to the Hotel.
Rest of the Day FREE to explore the area or have a Horse or Camel ride.

Day 6: JOJAWAR - SHAHPURA(152 km/3,5 hours)

Rajasthan is famous for royalty and style and one such place is Shahpura. A Green wetland created for eco-living)

Today, you will be taken to another sublime place in Rajasthan – SHAHPURA. This place had tremendous shortage of water. The Price pledged his jewels and promised his people to create lot water. The result is obvious today as this is now a lush green wetland.
After Arrival and check-in either at SHAHPURA HOUSE or BAGH.
Afternoon: Visit Durga Temple and Shahpura Fort.

Day 7: SHAHPURA - CHITTORGARH - BHAINSROGARH (about 260 km /6 hrs)

(In Rajasthan, Maharajas and princes created serene atmosphere and made their dynasties memorable. The massive and larges Fort of Chittorgarh is one such example. Their valor and strength is well reflected in the monuments created by them)
After breakfast, drive to Chittorgarh. Epitome of the pride of Rajasthan, scene of cruel battles and romantic love stories. The largest fortress of Rajasthan tells of heroism and legends.
Drive to Bhainsrorgarh Fort perched on a cliff above the Chambal River. The descendants of the royal Family restored the Fort and converted into a lovely hotel and your home for next 2 nights.

Day 08: BHAINSROGAH

After Breakfast, set out to explore the surroundings. You will Badoli Temple Complex to see the templesofBadoli from the year 925, dedicated to the Hindu gods Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.
After visiting the Temple complex, proceed to an Island where, you may have the chance to see the endangered Gangesgavial (MUGGAR – the Crocodile) The up to six-meter-long animals are known for their narrow muzzle and live only in the major rivers of the northern Indian subcontinent, mainly in the Chambal River. A Picnic Lunch will be served on the Island.
Overnight stay at FOR BHAINSROGARH.

Day 9: BHANSROGARH - JHALAWAR (88 km/ 2 hr.)

After Breakfast, it is time to leave this beautiful Fort and proceed to JHALAWAR in South-Eastern Rajasthan. Named after the JHALA clan.
After arrival, Check-in at the Hotel Prithvi Vilas, a former Hunting Lodge of Maharaja, now turned into a Heritage Hotel with all modern comforts. It is learnt that the Royalty still spend some times here and stay for overnights.
Rest of the Day FREE. You can walk through the premises to watch the peacocks in the Garden

DAY 10: JHALAWAR

After Breakfast, visit the GAGRON Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The uniqueness of this Fort is that it is surrounded by both Jungle and Water. It is built at the confluence of the Ahu and Kali Sindh Rivers. On the way you will visit the temples of Chandrabhaga, from the 6th to the 14th century. Particularly noteworthy is the sun temple, which was probably used only 300 years and was built by the king of Odisha. In addition to the temples is a herb garden, known for its variety of Ayurvedic herbs and medicinal plants.

Day 11: JHALAWAR - BHOPAL (237 km/ 5 hr.)
