DAY 01:BOMBAY-KOCHI
(By Flight)
Morning: The journey to God’s own country begins on arrival at the Airport
of Kochi. Collect your baggage and get into your Car to start your memorable trip.
Our Executive will help you in check-in formalities
Recover from Jet lag by relaxing a bit.
Afternoon: During the sightseeing, you will visit the Chinese Nets, the Jews Synagogue,
the Palace built by Dutch – Mattencherry and the old European Church St. Francis.
End up with visit to Portuguese Santa Cruz Basilica.
Evening: visit the traditional dance of India – Kathakali in a theater.

DAY 02:KOCHI – MUNNAR (130 Km – 3hrs)
Breakfast in the Hotel
Leave by Car for Munnar via VALARA, Cheeyappara Waterfalls and
Visit Karadippara Point.
(The Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara waterfalls located between
Neriamangalam and Adimali on the Kochi – Madurai highway is a quite fascinating spot.)
After sightseeing of above place, proceed onwards to Munnar.
(MUNNAR has immensely contributed to Kerala’s tourism. The town is landscaped between the 3 mountain streams and is located at an altitude of 1600M. British made this town as their Summer Resort.)
Late Afternoon – After a beautiful drive through the Tea Gardens, you will arrive and check-in at the pre-designated hotel.
Enjoy rest of the day by visiting this small town or stroll through the Tea Gardens.

DAY 03: MUNNAR
Breakfast in the Hotel
Visit: Eravikulam National Park about 15Km from the town to see The Nilgiri
Tahr, which is now considered to be endangered. Besides, you will be fascinated
to see the different kind of Butterflies and Birds in this Park spread over
97 Sq. Km.
Mattupetty -Situated at a height of 1700M, this place has a Storage Masonry Dam.
Tourists can take a Boat ride on the Lake to enjoy the landscape. At the Echo Point,
one can hear reproduction of ones own voice.
Tea Museum -The Traditional Tea has been captured in this Museum built by Tata Tea. While Munnar has it own legacy to the origins of Tea Plantations and its evolution,
Tata Tea has taken forward its legacy to preserve this legacy and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects on the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala’s high ranges, a museum exclusively for tea was opened some years ago by Tata Tea in Munnar.

Day 04:MUNNAR-PERIYAR (90 Km – 03 Hrs)
Breakfast in the Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Thekkady (Periyar) through the lush green mountains
and winding roads.
After check-in, unwind yourself and prepare to see this little beautiful town.
During a boat trip in the afternoon you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings
and, with a little luck, even observe some of the animals that live there while
grazing on the shore. Luck on your side, you can even come across a Tiger.

DAY 05:PERIYAR – KUMARAKOM (120 Km – 3 Hrs)
This morning, after Breakfast at the Hotel, as you walk through a spice
plantation, you can see, smell and taste how and where the spices that are
exported from India to all over the world grow.
You will be checked-in, in one of the Hotels located on the Backwaters.
Relax and Sunbath.

DAY 06:KUMARAKOM – ALLEPPY by House Boat
To-day, early in the morning, start your day and visit the Birds of different
species and hear the sound of music from these happy ones.

Start cruising in the direction of Alleppy via Canals on the backwaters and pass
through various Hamlets. Your Cooks will serve you Lunch with your favorite dishes.
Eventually, a spot will Selected in the canal for your overnight trip after the Dinner.

(ALLEPPY has large network of canals and that is the lifeline, both to cater to
tourists as also for trade. The Boat races are conducted in July/August every year).
DAY 07:ALLEPPY – TRIVENDRUM (160 Km – 04hrs) – KOVALAM
Early Morning the Boat will be parked in the Jetty and breakfast served.
After disembarkation, you will be given orientation drive of Alleppy and
Then Proceed onwards to KOVALAM – your destination for Beach Holidays.

DAY 09: KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI-KOVALAM

On this Day return trip, you will visit Cape Comorin, the lands end. Enroute, visit
Padmanabhapuram Palace located in the historical town of Padmanabhapuram.
Town is surrounded by a Fort. The town was built in AD 1601 and was the capital of Travancore. Located in the Center, the Palace was built on an area of 7 Acres.
Just short of 12 Km from Kanyakumari visit Suchindaram – a small village. Located
on the bank of the river Pazhayar, the temple is dedicated to Sri Sthanumalayan which
signifies Siva, Vishnu and Brahma. In Kanyakumari, few minute boat ride, you will come
across Vivekanand Ashram within the Sea.

DAY 10: KOVALAM

AFTERNOON: City sightseeing of Mumbai has many interesting sights It has Gothic style buildings like the High Court, Railway Station and being a multi cultured city, has a Haji Hali Mosque also. Day 12: MUMBAI

Morning – A few minutes Motor Launch from Gateway of India, lies the Caves of Elephanta. These caves are famous for Rock cut Temples. Shiva – the Trimurti headed with separate Lingam shrine is a divine watch. This denotes that shiva also takes the role of Brahma, the Creator and Vishnu the preserver. The closed Eye shiva with eternal contemplation is a eternal watch and serene sight. One can watch the various figures of Shiva dancing in Tandava.
